To be the complete professional, accountants, tax practitioners and auditors / trainees should understand the process flow of a transaction from initiation in the accounting records, to the taxation-related impact and how to audit this process from the top down. Professionals / trainees often have similar questions around business transactions: • When do we recognise it? • What do we debit and credit? • What about the income tax, value-added tax and capital gains tax effect? ProBeta Training has designed a series of courses that go through the process of a business transaction step by step - from the accounting debits and credits, to the tax effect and makes consideration for any applicable management accounting elements. Understanding these elements will not only empower you (as a professional) / your trainees, but will make the accounting / tax / audit process simpler and increase efficiency.

Our goal is to improve your ability to recognise the far-reaching impact of a transaction, which will strengthen the quality of your contribution to your clients and organisation

Transactions / Balances considered for accounting, tax and audit impact: o Trade Payables o Provisions o Contingencies o Related Parties For each of these transactions we will look at the far-reaching impact in respect of: • Accounting implication – debits and credits • Income tax impact • Value added tax effect • Auditing of the accounting entry as well as the auditing of the taxation

o Professional accountants, auditors and tax practitioners. o Trainee accountants who may have a gap (accounting / tax / audit) in their pool of knowledge. o All other financial professionals who need to be refreshed on their accounting, tax or audit knowledge

o A computer / laptop with Microsoft Excel installed, o PDF viewing software, a stable internet connection, audio equipment in the form of headphones or otherwise a built-in speaker and lastly a microphone (optional).
