Strike action taken by employees can bring a business to its knees. Are you aware of your right as an employer during a strike? The Labour Relations Act provides for aggrieved employees to take action in the form of a strike, but certain rules must be adhered to for the strike to be legal. If not, employers are allowed to take steps against these employees, including lock out and in serious cases, dismissal.
