As a director, you are responsible for running the company in such a way that promotes the success of the company. This means to deal in good faith, act in the best interest of the company and ensure compliance with laws and regulations. In anticipation of the meeting to be held, the directors need to obtain an understanding of de-listing from the stock exchange and the best way to do this. This session also provides a space for the directors to discuss any recent developments within the entity and possible Companies Act implications. We will also cover the POPIA requirements during this session.
