The session intends to inform staff and partners who have implemented the ISQM manual on completing the annual Independence and Ethics declaration. The session explains what factors apply to staff members and what factors apply to partners. We will discuss the purpose of each section and how to complete the declaration.
Independence required in terms of the Code of Conduct
Ethical fundamental principles explained
Threats to compliance with the fundamental principles
Safeguards to be considered for threats to the fundamental principles
Understanding the content of the Ethics and Independence declaration, as well as the completion thereof
All staff members that have to sign an independence declaration in accordance with ISQM 1
