Calling all SAICA training offices with their intake of new trainees.

When a SAICA training contract is entered into, trainees need to be able to conduct themselves in a certain manner.

Being employed in a professional environment means that you need to be able to act professionally and communicate professionally.

This session aims to explain how to conduct yourself, as a new professional, in a corporate environment as well as looking at how SAICA has disciplined trainees who have not complied with the SAICA Code of Conduct and SAICA Training Regulations.

The objectives of this session is to familiarise first year trainee accountants with their new working environment.

After this session, delegates should understand that their development is their responsibility, and that they should take the necessary steps to ensure they make the most of their professional training years.

Will identify what punishment trainees will face if they do not adhere to professional conduct.
