It is said that tax is one of the few certainties in life. As such, it may be wisest to aim to settle as much of your tax liability as possible before the taxman comes asking for it. Paying provisional taxes is a well known process among most taxpayers, and it becomes crucial to have a simple yet effective manner of dealing with it.

For this reason, ProBeta offers a session aimed at covering all aspects of provisional taxes, the process and administration thereof.

This session is set up to address the application of the relevant taxation laws, including but not limited to:
• The requirements to be registered as a provisional taxpayer, as well as the exemptions from registering
• The process of first, second and third payments
o Coverage of the basic rules governing provisional taxes, including a practical walkthrough for each
o Clarifying the concept of the “basic” amount
o Interest and penalties for late and under payments
• Other administrative provisions applicable to the process
• Considerations for auditors
