Many people fall into the trap of takin relationships for granted. Our ability to build and maintain healthy relationships is the single most important factor in how we get along in every area of life and our people skills determine our potential success.

All of life’s successes come from initiating relationships with the right people and then strengthening those relationships by using good people skills. Work failures can usually be traced back to people too. Sometimes the impact is obvious, like becoming involved with an abusive partner or a co-dependent family member is going to cause damage. Other times the challenge is less dramatic, such as alienating a co-worker that you must interact with every day, or failing to build a positive relationship with an important client. The bottom line is that we can usually trace our successes and failures back to relationships.

In this session we cover 16 principles that are key to building and maintaining successful relationships at work.

• Preparing for relationships
• Focusing on others
• Building mutual trust
• Investing in others
• Synergy
