Coaching is a cost-effective, efficient way of supporting people’s development and growth. Unlike a training course, coaching is flexible in its timing and an integral part of a leader’s work day, providing what staff members need to reach their full potential.
It is a partnership between a leader and his/her team member and for it to be successful, both parties need to be motivated to participate in the coaching process by being open and trusting and setting out the ground rules for coaching to take place.
