Farming is an integral part of our economy. As a result we need to come to grips with the specialised aspects of farming taxation.

After attending this course, delegates will have gained an understanding of the competencies mentioned below and must be able to apply the concepts and techniques in most situations and environments:
• How to calculate farming income
• How to apply the relevant ringfencing provisions
• How to calculate and apply the relevant farming deductions.

This session will aim to cover the following areas
• Who is a farmer?
• What constitutes farming income?
• What are the best practices we need to consider to take advantage of
the incentives?
• What special allowances or considerations should farmers apply in their
record keeping?
