#CA2025(Relational Acumen: Teamwork Skills; Emotional Intelligence)

  • How teachable am I within the team and how well do I play my part with respect for the process and positions of my team mates?

Work-Along Format
This format is designed to bridge the gap between learning and application, ensuring that the concepts we discuss are immediately put into practice. During the session, I will serve as your dedicated guide, facilitator, and coach, walking you through each step of the process.

How the Work-Along Format Works

  • Real-Time Application: As we explore key concepts, you’ll have the opportunity to work on relevant tasks or exercises in real time. This hands-on approach will allow you to directly apply the material, gaining practical experience that reinforces your understanding.
  • Guided Support: Throughout the session, I’ll be there to support you, offering insights, answering questions, and providing feedback as you work. This ensures that you’re not only learning the material but also developing the skills needed to implement it confidently.
  • Collaborative Environment: You'll be working alongside fellow participants, fostering a sense of community and shared learning. This collaborative environment will encourage the exchange of ideas and best practices, enhancing your overall experience.

Because many leaders don’t plan in advance and they don’t use an appropriate meeting structure. As a result, their meetings are often dull or they spin out of control, leaving participants frustrated and uninspired.

Leadership guru John Maxwell advises, “The secret to a good meeting is the meeting before the meeting.”

The Maxwell Method of Leadership for Engaging and Productive Meetings, outlines John’s secret for successful meetings, including proven strategies to help you ensure that your meetings are purposeful, engaging, and productive.

OBJECTIVES:

  • Discover why the meeting before the meeting is imperative for your success.
  • Differentiate between different types of meetings and when to use each.

Learn how to structure and lead meetings to keep them engaging, productive, and on track.

Throughout the lesson, you will have the opportunity to reflect on your practices and build your skill-sets to prepare for and lead engaging and productive meetings. A checklist (** BONUS ** - see part 2😍 ) will be provided that will guide you through the steps of planning ahead for the meeting, establishing clear expectations, staying on point, and clarifying next steps.

When you implement the practices that we address, you and your team will be equipped and prepared to plan and deliver engaging and productive meetings that will help you achieve the results you desire!
