According to SAICAs accreditation criteria (B4), the training office is required to apply the current version of the Training Regulations through the following indicators:
• The training officer has communicated and explained the current version of the Training Regulations to all role
players in relation to their responsibilities; and
• All role players apply the current version of the Training Regulations as they relate to their responsibilities.
Thus through this webinar, the training office will make all role players aware of their requirements as well any changes to the new regulations.
This will also ensure that everyone involved with trainee accountants and the training programme have a working knowledge of the latest SAICA Training Regulations.
Through attendance of this webinar, further understanding of certain items within the accreditation criteria relating to the Training Regulations can be obtained. Such items include that the training office must comply with all legal aspects required for the training programme (A1) - one of which includes the requirement that the training officer’s registration complies with the training regulations.
Another criterion is that the employment contract be aligned with the Training Regulations
(A2) as well as that each trainee is required to be familiar with the SAICA Training Regulations
(C1) through an induction programme. This webinar can also form part of your new trainee induction programme.
To ensure that all role players understand and apply the current version of the Training Regulations as they relate to their responsibilities.
This webinar will take you through each chapter of the SAICA Training Regulations highlighting any new information, including CA2025, the accreditation criteria and any insight you may require. We will also cover some tips on preparing for a SAICA visit.
All trainees, training officers, training office administrators and all relevant role-players will benefit from attending this session, as well as anyone who supervises trainees on a daily basis and deals with any element of the SAICA training programme.
