Tax Administration is becoming one of the most challenging and time-demanding aspects of the work of a tax professional. The various penalty provisions of the Tax Administration Act are complex and specific and it is essential for tax professionals to fully understand these provisions and know how to comply and work with them.

This webinar outlines, in understandable language and with a very practical focus, the various penalty and interest provisions and how and when they apply. Furthermore, the webinar explains the circumstances in which penalties and interest can be waived or reduced and takes you through the process to obtain such relief. We also explain the process to follow if you are trying to resolve a dispute with SARS that involves penalties and/or interest.
