Recent IRBA inspection reports highlight numerous issues encountered during inspections. These include deficiencies such as inadequate documentation of professional skepticism, reliance on inappropriate evidence, improper addressing of assertions, failure to follow a risk-based approach in audit procedure design, inappropriate sample sizes, incorrect testing directions, and misinterpretations of significant risks and presumed fraud risk.

In response to these findings, I have developed a practical session where I will address each of these issues systematically, following an audit process from start to finish. Throughout the session, I will explain the reasons behind these findings and provide practical guidance on how to avoid similar issues in practice. You can utilize this session as a checklist to ensure all audit requirements are met.

I will also provide you with my 10/10 plan, which you can implement in your firm as an additional precautionary measure. This plan aims to ensure there is no break in the link between the identified risks, the audit programs, and the audit working papers.

This course is tailored for partners, managers, and audit seniors, offering a high-level overview of these crucial audit aspects. Ample time will be allocated for questions and discussions.

I invite you to join me on [date] for this informative session, aimed at aligning your firm's audit practices with auditing standards and preventing future regulatory findings. I look forward to your participation.
